Design & CAD
Work starts from your design file, a physical sample, or a brief we develop into both. Our team draws in CAD, and we iterate on the model — proportions, gold weight, wearability — until it is signed off. Nothing goes to the floor unapproved.

Casting & Forming
The approved model is cast and formed. This is where Calcutta-style earns its name: building hollow, thin-walled structures that hold their shape and their look at a fraction of solid weight. It is the hardest thing in this workshop to do consistently.

Stone Setting & Assembly
Setters and assemblers take the cast parts and make them a piece — meenakari enamel, kundan setting, filigree work, jump rings and clasps. Most of the bench artisans doing this have been at it for decades, which is the only reason the tenth piece matches the first.

Finishing & Quality Control
Polishing, rhodium plating where the design calls for it, then inspection against the approved sample — weight, finish, function, every clasp opened and closed. Each piece is BIS hallmarked for purity before it is packed for you.
