In 1996, Narpat Tejraj Mehta — a B.Tech engineer — and his nephew Jitendra Madanraj Jain — a D.Pharm graduate — began manufacturing gold jewellery from a small cubicle in Mumbai's Zaveri Bazar. Three decades on, Shree Jewellers is the manufacturing partner behind some of India's most respected retail houses.
